Recently there has been an increase in cases of teenagers hit by cars while walking or riding their bicycle. Sometimes this happens even though they are in a pedestrian crosswalk. In fact, some Russell students have been hit by cars when crossing Escuela Parkway right in front of the school. Therefore, it is a good idea to occasionally review safety rules such as those established by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). For FiT Work #2 you will watch two videos related to bicycle safety and answers questions based on what you learned in the videos.
